I’m Karen Pearce I’ve been professionally training dogs in
the San Antonio area for over seven
years. I’ve been working with animals in some capacity for over forty years. I’ve
worked with horses, dogs, cats, birds and even a bob cat. I believe in using
the gentlest form of training possible. Not all dogs are alike and not all
techniques work on all dogs. I will adjust a program suitable for both you and
your dog.
In San Antonio they kill hundreds of dogs a day in the local pound. Most dogs are turned over to
Animal Care Services due to behavioral problems. After rescuing dogs from ACS
I found that many are not only excellent dogs, but some even went on to be
service dogs. This has inspired me to offer a lower cost training service
hoping that more people will be able to afford a good quality trainer at a reasonable
price and keep the pet dog.
